Exploring The Other Paintings

In the book The Book Of Elsewhere Olivia is currently left at home alone again and now is exploring the other paintings around the house. With the spectacles that she has she can actually see the paintings moving! What I mean is that the people and trees or houses inside the paintings, they come to life. Some of the paintings were a woman dipping her toes into the bathtub, a woman and man enjoying lunch at a french street cafe, three girls talking and they wore something that Morton wore. Olivia jumped in the painting to ask if they new anything about Morton and the bad man. However all they did is shove her out off the painting. The last painting she explored was three men building a wall, Olivia was a little bit afraid of the men but went into the painting anyway. They way the three man acted made Olivia less scared about them, they talked about the bad man and about the basement and how there was something in there. Olivia hated the basement however might go explore it anyway.

Can't Catch Me!

The book that I'm reading is The Book of Elsewhere. One of the most funniest scenes is when Olivia and Morton get out of the painting but they have to go threw another and Morton doesn't want too. That wasn't the funny part the funniest part was that he started running away from Olivia and was taunting her but in a teasing way saying "Boys are faster than girls" and that made her very angry. Also he kept saying things like that so when she finally caught him she was so mad! However in the end she just ended up dragging him into the painting and taught him a lesson.

The One Thing He Cared For

Why I think Dally's death might have been sadder is because Dally was a hard guy and wasn't soft and he acted like he didn't care however he did have a soft spot for something actually someone what I mean is Johnny. When Johnny died Dally was crushed into pieces he had only cared for Johnny. Now that he was dead now what was Dally gonna do? He knew that the best thing for him to do is to go join Johnny to where he was. Just to see that Dally would die for Johnny or because he cared for Johnny is really sad though. However to have a fake gun and pretend he was gonna shoot the cops and then he got shot and died instantly he knew it was the right thing to do.

Little Boy

The book that I started reading last week is called The Book of Elsewhere and now there is a new character! His name is Morton and hes nine years old! Right now in the book Olivia is stuck in the painting and has been wondering around until she found Morton. The thing that is a little sad is that Morton has been stuck in this painting for forever and he was put in the painting from the bad man. They have been running all over the place to find a way out but they just cant find a path to lead them. Morton is stubborn and Olivia and even just hearing of what his face and his reaction sound like I think hes really afraid.

Golden Frienship

• Johnny: “Stay gold.”

   The quote that I am choosing to write a paragraph about is when Johnny says " Stay Gold Ponyboy". What Johnny is saying is that he wants Ponyboy to stay good and just to be himself and to not change in the future. An example is that Ponyboy used golden for his mom because she was beautiful and caring. Basically Johnny wants him to stay that way too.  To keep helping people and understand everyone. Johnny and Ponyboy's friendship was gold or golden because they saved the kids from the church, they took care of each other and understood each other. Johnny already knew that Ponyboy was golden and I think that Ponyboy might have not thought he was gold but Johnny knew he was and so he just wanted to tell Ponyboy that he was and to stay that way before he died. 

Inside The Painting

The book I'm reading The Book of Elsewhere is starting to get a little interesting because Olivia found something that will make the paintings either show something to her like a young girl with her hair combed back painting winked at Olivia when she wore this spectacles. What I think was the most interesting part though is that the first painting that showed her the little white figure thing, she was able to go through it! Also now she accidentally fell through the painting again!

Talking Cat

In the new book I'm reading The Book of Elsewhere creepy things have been happening. The thing that I thought was a little scary is that the cat at their new house at night started talking to Olivia which is weird but is cool to talk to animals. However the scary part of when they were talking is that the cat said that not just Olivia owns the house but someone else owns it too and that they think Olivia is an intruder. The cat said that they are gonna try their best to get rid of Olivia which gave me the chills. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Roller Coaster Madness

Eek! As the harness quickly buckled me in. I felt my palms moist and syrupy that I didn't have a good grip of  the handlebars. Crack! We had just started moving my stomach was filled with butterflies. I could already see the drop. Click click click click click. As we slowly started getting higher and higher to the very top of the roller coaster. The clicking stopped I knew what that meant....I quickly looked over to my friends with a scared however ready for whatever we were getting into look and they had the same face. I gripped onto the handlebars as hard as I could took a big breath and swoosh! We were going down 180 feet drop and the butterflies in my stomach grew 100 times bigger than they were before. I tried opening my eyes and everything was happening so fast! Screaming for my life I thought I was the only one however everyone was screaming! I could see the ground and it looked like we were gonna crash right into the ground I closed my eyes as tight as I could!

The huge drop ended I had a huge smile on my face that drop was the biggest drop that I have ever been on however I was very relieved. There were very fast turns and I could see myself looking at people that were watching me on the ride but they turned into a blur as we picked up more speed! There was a little drop that to me was still big and I could see the sky right before I dropped back down straight into a fast turn! Just when I thought there was no more drops a surprise drop was right in front of me! In my head I knew I was going to die but really I was so excited for this next drop! As we were going down this time I looked at my friends to see their reaction to this drop. They had been screaming bloody murder and had the silliest faces on! Then I turned back to looking down and seeing the ground again I started screaming like bloody murder! The last drop had ended! With the finale turn it was the fastest scariest turn. It was like I was on a motorcycle that had been making a sharp turn! I thought in a second our faces would hit the side of the ground because it was so sideways!

When the turn ended we started going slower and slower everyone were screaming " Yeah! We did it!" Then I realized we had just beat one of the scariest and biggest roller coaster's ever..... Goliath

The Paintngs

In the new book I'm reading The Book Of Elsewhere: The Shadows, Olivia has just moved into this old mansion. She talked about how in the other apartment she lived in they were all similar but how this house had something different about itself. What creeping her out the most is the paintings that were on the wall. The painting that was creeping her out the most was the painting right outside of her bedroom. There were some houses and trees but in Olivia's head the houses look like they were pretending to be asleep like they knew something bad was gonna happen. I think that her thought on that painting is quite interesting because if I saw that picture I probably wouldn't have thought that at all.

A New Book

The book that I am just starting to read is The Books Of Elsewhere: The Shadows by Jacqueline West. Even though I have just finished the first chapter the main character Olivia interests me already. She doesn't talk much however she is a creative girl. At least that's what her parents said about her. Her parents just bought a old mansion for a good price and Olivia doesn't really want to believe yet that this is her house. Personally I wouldn't believe it either at first. I can't wait to see more of Olivia and see what the book holds for me!

The End With A Cliff Hanger!

In the book Crown of Three the book just ended! I am very sad that it ended because I love this book a lot but what made me mad is that they left me not knowing if the prophecy is true and the triplets defeat the king or that they will be defeated! However I think that this is an amazing book and recommend it to someone who likes action and a fighting also powers! Just be prepared to not have so much excitement at first because in the first few chapters it is just mostly talking but after a few more chapters the action will began and you will love the book like I do. I will miss you Crown of Three I can't wait for the next book!

Goodbye Brother

In the book Crown of Three a huge war is rising right now in the book. However one of the most heartbreaking things just happened to Gulph. His brother (step) just died in his arms. Why I think this is heartbreaking is because even though Nymus turned into a monster and someone that Gulph didn't recognize anymore. Gulph still loved him as a brother and a friend and cared about him. Also just before Nymus died Gulph told Nymus that he was one of the triplets. "I should have...seen it. I always thought...fate brought you Gulph. To Idillian. To me. Fate....had brought me a friend.... Also in the Vault in the black cell....I used to wish for a brother...." Nymus said. I think that this quote that Nymus said is the saddest but most important quote in the book. Then.....Nymus died...

The Trap

The book Crown of Three is coming to an end. However the war isn't coming to a end yet! What I thought was a brilliant idea for a trap is that Elodie is gonna talk to the ghost army that she is standing on to make a bridge to leave so that the undead army will fall to the ground! She is doing this because there are too many undead people that her and her army can't fight them off so they are pushing them back. I think that was a very brilliant idea for her to come up! Also her planned worked but Brutan was still alive and is filled with even more rage!
